The meeting minutes of the United States’ nuclear security chiefs have long been used as a way for leaders to express their thoughts on key national security issues.
But the format is now being used in a new way.
This template will give you an idea of what’s in there.
In the new format, the meeting minutes are presented as one long presentation that begins with a question, and then follows up with questions from each of the principals.
You’ll be able to answer questions like, “Did you hear about the new president’s visit to South Korea?” or “Was President Donald Trump’s visit with Kim Jong Un’s father on the agenda?”
You can also answer questions about your own country’s nuclear policy or its diplomatic and security relationships with other countries.
This way, you can get a sense of how the principals are interacting with each other, what the agenda is, and what the principals think of what the administration’s doing.
